Card Alpha is a new online magazine for experimental poetry. We were founded in January, 2016 and publish both established and emerging poets.
The magazine publishes three times a year in April, August and December. The inaugural issue was released in April, 2016.
The editor is Adam Hampton, a postgraduate student in Creative Writing at Edge Hill University. He has had poetry published in the magazines M58, Ikleftiko and Three and a half point 9, as well as on Robert Sheppard's blog Pages. His short story White Balloons was published in degree magazine.
Unfortunately, we cannot currently offer the writers we publish a payment. At some time in the future (depending on the success of the magazine) this may be subject to change.
